Colonial Williamsburg in Motion
This was Sierra’s project for her awarded 3D Visualization Fellowship at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Williamsburg, Virginia. The project integrated accurate, architectural models of the colonial-era Robert Carter house, with animation. Character created from a fun twist on Little Red Riding Hood. Little Wolf was modeled, rigged, and textured in Maya. Texture was painted in Photoshop. Sierra’s 3D thesis animation about Charlie, an outcasted carrot that takes a dark turn. All characters and elements were created by Sierra in Autodesk Maya, Photoshop, and After Effects. Concept sketches of Charlie, as well as his Zombie version. Sketches are next to his final textured and rigged models.
